Malta

At first a nice video I found about Malta.

Malta is an archipelago in the central Mediterranean between Sicily and the North African coast. It's a nation known for historic sites related to a succession of rulers including the Romans, Moors, Knights of Saint John, French and British. It has numerous fortresses, megalithic temples and the Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum, a subterranean complex of halls and burial chambers dating to circa 4000 B.C.

Capital: Valletta
Area: 316 km²
Population: 436,947 (2016) World Bank

Maltese language

The Maltese language is an interesting mixture of Arabic, Italian, and English, and it’s the only Semitic language written in Latin letters. A lot of the pronunciations have Arabic origins making them  difficult for European language speakers to master. However, the local people will always appreciate you making the effort to speak in their mother tongue. Read on the find a list of some of the most useful phrases that you should learn before coming to visit the wonderful islands of Malta!
